"So everyone remember the plan?"

The jackal's soft call was answered by nods. He stood up, raising his head to view the ranks of rogues sitting silently before him, eyes sparkling in the dim gray light just beginning to show above the horizon. Standing up on the pile of rocks he was perched upon, the jackal raised his tail and leaped down the mound, trotting through the camp to the exiting tunnels.

"Then lets go."

The ranks followed him through the black tunnels to emerge on the other side, their pawsteps quick and sure. Heads bowed and tails out, they followed their group leaders and split off as they passed their turns. The first headed off over the moors between the two forest packs for a more direct route to the water reserve. The rest padded on a while longer, the moon sinking to the treetops, blanketing the air that the pack breathed with silver mist.

After a while, they passed around the outer edge of the valley, trotting along the rim to avoid any obstacles. They stopped for a short time, and Tethys counted the few that would accompany him to the camps to begin the raid.

They took off again, the plan fresh in their minds. The few that went with their leaders would invade the camps, stealing a piece of meat or two, and dash out, headed toward the opposing packs' territory. The meat wasn't for the sake of eating. It would help set the trail.

As soon as they would near the other pack's border, they would veer off in the direction of the miner's town, leading the packs with them. Oh, what if the packs didn't follow...? Slow down, wait for them to catch up. Leave the camp, pretending they weren't seen. Then the packs'd follow, thinking they had the element of surprise. Oh, but how they were they in for it.

Tethys nodded again, and they split up, not to see each other until the town ambush. Tethys, Shadowfire, Onyx, one assassin, two scouts, and one spy, plus the Advisor of the Rogues, which was a consultant to the pack, were coming to raid the camps. Four to each pack. They split their ways, and the group going to the miner's camp headed off on the base of the mountain chain, while the eight raiders slipped down into the dip of the valley.

OOC||don't reply yet, I'm not done. The battle will start here, and I'll post links to the other places. Sky Fire camp, Shadow Moon camp, and the two ambush places.

EDIT- okay, I'm done now. follow the thread links to where you can post, depending on which parts you want. You can post as as many character rogues you can improvise.

Please try to keep it even, like don't let the number of rogues at the water reserve totaly out number those in the tunnels.

Now lets go.
